As a Senior Accredited Member (No: NCS14-00671) of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS - Snr Accred) I am able to display the Accredited Voluntary quality mark, a sign that I belong to a register which meets the Professional Standards Authority’s (PSA) robust standards.
The AVR scheme was set up by the Department of Health to ensure that the public are able to choose safe, ethical and competent professionals for their health and social care needs. The scheme is administered by the PSA which is an independent body, responsible for overseeing the UK’s health and social care regulatory bodies and is accountable to Parliament.
